2020 Australian GCTP Module 2 Training Workshop – May 22nd & 23rd, 2021

Description

NOTE: This training workshop is NOT open to the general public & is only open to certified TRE Providers & GCTP trainees.

Recommendation to Attend Live / Options to Attend via Zoom

Due to the complexities of Covid travelling uncertainties, Module 2 on May 22 & 23 will still be a live face-to-face event in Melbourne with the option to attend via zoom only if you are unable to attend in person. Either way you must attend live & it is not an option to simply watch the recordings.

Please note we highly recommend you attend the workshop live in Melbourne as there are embodied shifts & learnings that are simply not possible via zoom, including the experience of giving & receiving touch. While a connection with others is available online, it is significantly different from the palpable experience of being moved not only by your own mind & body, but also by the pulsating momentum of the group as a whole.

If you are planning to attend via zoom, we recommend you partner with another trainee who lives nearby so you are both able to join from the same location & work with each other during the practical components of the training. If you are unable to do this we are unable to guarantee you will always have a partner to work with during the practical components which will be making up more than half the workshop.

In the case you do not have a partner to work with for each practical session, you will be required to undertake additional practice sessions either with volunteers or other trainees outside the training module in order to make up these hours.

Please also note that while we will endeavour to make the technology work as well as possible, we can not guarantee its quality nor that it will always be available. As from the beginning of your training the workshop was set out to be a face-to-face workshop, our priority will remain with those attending live in person & we will not compromise the effectiveness of the face-to-face workshop if there are any difficulties with the technology.

This means that should you chose to attend via zoom & the technology fails & you are unable to complete the vast majority of the workshop, you may be required to re-attend a subsequent module 2 at a later date in order to complete your training.
