This workshop facilitated by Physiotherapist Richmond Heath will be conducted live online via ZOOM.

QUALIFICATION:

This workshop teaches participants TRE for self-care use only. It does NOT provide a qualification to teach TRE to others.

Attendance qualifies as a prerequisite 1-day workshop to apply for the Australian TRE Professional Certification Program

WHO CAN ATTEND:

This workshop is only open to Frontline Workers & their Familiies including Volunteers. (6 free places for volunteers have been donated by the workshop facilitator)

If you have any major medical or mental health conditions, have a history or severe trauma or have any difficulties self-regulating your mental health or physical wellbeing please complete the pre-screening form here to ensure this workshop will be appropriate for you.

MINIMUM NUMBERS:


The workshop will only proceed with a minimum of 5 registrations 24 hrs prior to the workshop.

If the workshop is cancelled due to a lack of registrations credit to attend a future workshop or a full refund will be provided.

Frontline Volunteers – 6 FREE places have been donated by the workshop faciltator

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Participants are recommended to wear loose comfortable clothing to perform simple exercises in

For the practical component participants will be required to lie on a bed or the floor for up to 45 minutes. Please have mats, blankets, cushions, pillows or whatever you need to be comfortable lying down

Participants need to be clearly visible while lying down for the practical component, Please ensure you have adequate lighting, clear sound & your microphone will still pick up your voice while you are lying down

SYLLABUS:


Presentation: a trauma-informed model of neurogenic tremors & the resilience cycle

Practical: guided TRE session for personal self-care use

Lunch: approximately 12.30 – 1.30pm

Presentation: refining self-regulation & ongoing use instructions

Practical: guided TRE session for personal self-care use

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE:

Certificates of Attendance available upon request.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations more than 24 hrs before the workshop will receive a full refund minus a $50 admin fee

Cancellations less than 24 hrs before the workshop will receive a 50% refund of the ticket price

As places are limited there are no refunds for non-attendance on the day
